Alex Gonzaga has asked for prayers as she enters the final weeks of her pregnancy, sharing that she and husband Mikee Morada are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child.
In an update posted on her Instagram Broadcast Channel, the actress-content creator said she is now in the final stretch of her pregnancy and has been experiencing the usual challenges of the third trimester.
“This is preggy life sa final stretch. Always having a hard time to sleep at night and always hungry, but love and will miss every part of this,” Alex wrote.
She also shared a video showing her growing baby bump and assured her followers that she has not forgotten them despite being less active on social media.
“Update ko lang kayo. This is my bump. We’re on our last stretch. Please pray for us!” she said.
Alex has yet to reveal her baby’s gender or announce her expected due date.
The actress is expecting her first child with Lipa Vice Mayor Mikee Morada, whom she married in 2020. The couple announced the pregnancy in May, revealing that they had naturally conceived while preparing to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF).
The pregnancy comes after years of heartbreak for the couple. Alex previously revealed that she experienced pregnancy losses in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
When announcing the pregnancy, she reflected on their journey, saying they never lost faith despite the setbacks.
“After almost six years of marriage and three heartbreaking losses, we never lost faith and continued to surrender everything to the Lord. By God’s grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy.”
