TV personality and social media star Awra Briguela has officially begun her rhinoplasty journey, sharing the experience with fans through a vlog while teasing what she described as a major transformation.
Awra first sparked curiosity after posting a short video on social media showing herself with a bandaged nose.
“FACE CARD: UPDATED,” she captioned the clip, immediately fueling excitement among her followers, many of whom expressed anticipation for her eventual reveal.
In the first episode of her rhinoplasty vlog uploaded on YouTube, Awra confirmed that she had undergone a nose enhancement procedure, saying it had been something she had wanted for a long time.
“And yes, tama po, surgery day ko today and magpapagawa po ako ng nose. Matagal ko na talaga siyang gusto. And feeling ko talaga guys, eto na lang yung kulang para maging sobrang Latina na ako.”
Despite deciding to undergo cosmetic enhancement, Awra clarified that her nose had never been one of her biggest insecurities.
“Hindi naman sa sobrang insecurities ko yung nose ko kasi maganda naman siya… but feeling ko talaga guys, kailangan niya ng enhancement.”
She explained that the procedure was a personal choice and something she believed would complete the look she had envisioned for herself.
Before pushing through with the surgery, Awra said she consulted her family and closest friends, including content creator Zeinab Harake, who fully supported her decision.
She also shared that she informed her father beforehand.
“Super supportive kasi ng Papa ko, and at the end of the day tatanggapin pa rin… kung saan naman ako masaya and kung saan ang ikakaganda ng anak niya, doon din siya.”
Awra revealed that she initially planned to make only minimal changes to her nose, but her doctor recommended a more comprehensive procedure to avoid the need for future revisions.
For inspiration, she chose the nose of Spanish model and influencer Cindy Kimberly.
“She’s so pretty and her nose is so beautiful… Hindi siya ganun kabongga pero ang lakas ng dating. At feeling ko bagay siya sa akin.”
The content creator has yet to reveal the final results of the surgery, explaining that her nose remains swollen and still needs time to fully heal.
The transformation will be unveiled in the second part of her rhinoplasty vlog.
Awra has long been vocal about receiving online criticism over her appearance. In the past, she even responded with humor after repeatedly being compared by bashers to NBA player Bronny James, turning the joke into a photoshoot rather than allowing the comments to affect her.
This time, however, Awra said her latest transformation is about fulfilling a personal goal—one she believes brings her a step closer to the version of herself she has always envisioned.
