Speculation continues to surround Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co after rumors spread online claiming that the couple had quietly tied the knot in a private civil wedding.

The buzz began after a blind item circulated on Facebook, alleging that a celebrity couple whose previously postponed wedding had finally pushed through in a simple ceremony. Although the post did not identify anyone by name, many netizens quickly speculated that it referred to Bea and Vincent, whose planned wedding in Spain was earlier reported to have been delayed.

The rumor gained even more traction after entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz said in his vlog that the couple had supposedly exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony at the Makati City Hall.

According to Ogie, only a handful of people allegedly witnessed the ceremony, including the owners of Secosana Bags, the company behind Bea’s Bash Bags collaboration.

He also claimed that he was shown what was described as the couple’s Certificate of Marriage, prompting him to congratulate the pair.

“Finally, they got married na sa Makati,” Ogie said in his vlog, adding that he was genuinely happy to see Bea fulfill her dream of getting married.

The talent manager also dismissed the issue surrounding the couple’s reported prenuptial agreement, saying financial matters should never outweigh love and mutual respect in a marriage.

Despite the circulating reports, neither Bea nor Vincent has publicly confirmed that they are already married.

A source familiar with the matter likewise said there has been no official confirmation from the couple or people close to them, although many have already started inquiring about the alleged wedding.

Earlier reports claimed Bea and Vincent had been working through challenges in their relationship after their supposed Spain wedding did not push through.

Sources also disputed several rumors that previously circulated regarding the couple’s alleged prenuptial agreement, including claims that Bea would be required to live with Vincent’s parents after marriage or that she had objected to certain conditions.

According to one source, those reports were inaccurate, saying the couple had already prepared a condominium where they intended to live after their wedding.

The same source also denied claims that Vincent’s parents were against Bea, arguing that the relationship would not have progressed to an engagement had that been the case.

As of writing, however, Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co have yet to issue any official statement confirming or denying the reports of their alleged civil wedding.
