Rumored couple and loveteam partners Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera shared their views on cosmetic enhancements, saying undergoing aesthetic procedures should not be considered a big issue as long as they help improve a person’s confidence or well-being.

The topic came up during their guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, where host Boy Abunda asked the pair about the public discussion surrounding cosmetic procedures.
“How do you explain this? Is that a big deal? In Korea, big deal yata ang walang retoke?” Boy asked.
Bianca responded that beauty enhancements should be a matter of personal choice.
“Well, for me, it’s not a big deal. Like, whatever makes you feel confident or whatever makes you feel happy, it’s your body. And it’s your choice kung anuman ‘yung gusto mong gawin, buhay mo naman ‘yan.”
Dustin agreed, saying he sees nothing wrong with enhancing one’s appearance, particularly if it contributes to better confidence or addresses health concerns.
“Well, wala talagang masama sa pag-e-enhance kasi kung makakatulong naman ‘yon sa pag-boost ng confidence mo. And sa akin naman, personally, ginawa ko siya for my health concern and umokay naman siya. Sabi naman ng mommy ko, pogi raw ako.”
The actor has previously acknowledged undergoing rhinoplasty in 2022 after repeatedly facing comments about the appearance of his nose.
In an earlier interview, Dustin explained that the procedure was not solely cosmetic but was also done to address a medical condition. He revealed that he had been suffering from sleep apnea due to a narrow nasal passage, which affected his breathing and sleep.
“The reason behind sa ilong ko, may sleep apnea kasi ako before. Maliit ‘yung passage ng breathing ko. Tapos binabangungot ako. Di ako nakakatulog. Bad sleep talaga every day.”
He added that the operation ultimately helped improve his overall health.
“Sa totoo lang, hindi na ‘to issue eh. Kung anuman ‘yung makita niyo sa akin, it’s because I want to feel better, sleep better, and live better.”
