Heart Evangelista once again had social media laughing after delivering another witty one-liner on her GMA Network game show, ‘The People Have Spoken’.

During a segment, the actress-host was asked: “Ano’ng mas nakakalungkot, wala kang kaibigan o wala kang pera?”
Without missing a beat, Heart answered: “Wala naman akong kaibigan, basta may pera, okay na ako.”
Her quick response immediately drew laughter from the studio audience.
Heart then clarified that she was only joking, explaining that she does have friends—including fellow celebrities Iya Villania, Kris Bernal, and Camille Prats, who happened to be guests on the show—but admitted they rarely get the chance to see one another.
“Tapos, hindi pa tayo nagkikita-kita. Eh ‘di mas gusto ko, may pera ako.”
The clip quickly went viral across social media, where many netizens praised Heart’s candid humor and playful honesty.
Some users admitted they would give the same answer, pointing out that financial security is more practical in today’s economy. Others, however, said they felt a little sad over Heart’s remark, wondering if she was being serious about having few close friends.
This isn’t the first time Heart has gone viral for one of her humorous answers on ‘The People Have Spoken’. In an earlier episode, she joked that if she could travel back in time, she would choose the past so she would no longer need Botox—a quip that likewise became a hit among viewers.
