Veteran television host Joey de Leon showcased his trademark wit by creating an instant parody song inspired by the growing popularity of the MaeBy pairing of Ryzza Mae Dizon and Bimby Aquino on ‘Eat Bulaga’.

During the noontime show’s latest episode, the Henyo Master reworked the lyrics of The Beatles’ 1970 classic ‘Let It Be,’ transforming it into a playful tribute titled ‘MaeBimby.’
In the parody, Joey humorously looked back at some of Philippine showbiz’s most iconic love teams—from Guy & Pip, KathNiel, and AlDub—before joking that they had all been surpassed by the newest tandem of Ryzza and Bimby.
One of the song’s memorable lines read: “Pagdalaga na po ang ating Aling Maliit!”
The lighthearted performance delighted the studio audience and sparked kilig among Dabarkads, who have been enjoying the chemistry between the two young television personalities.
Ryzza and Bimby both expressed their appreciation to Joey for the impromptu tribute, smiling and laughing throughout the performance.
The parody came a day after Joey also playfully brought up Ryzza’s name while discussing the recent exchange between Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda, who had publicly agreed to meet following days of friendly on-air banter.
Turning to his co-host, Joey quipped: “Si Ryzza, kailan kayo mag-uusap ni Kim Chiu?”
The joke referenced the recent online discussion surrounding Kim Chiu after her remark involving Ryzza during an ‘It’s Showtime’ segment drew mixed reactions from netizens. Rather than respond verbally, Ryzza simply laughed and waved at the audience.
Despite the online buzz, neither Ryzza nor Kim has issued a direct statement regarding the controversy.
Meanwhile, the MaeBy tandem continues to gain traction among viewers, with fans expressing hopes of seeing more on-screen moments between Ryzza and Bimby both on Eat Bulaga and through their social media content.
