Sparkle artist Princess Aliyah is looking ahead to a new chapter in both her personal life and career as she prepares to celebrate her 18th birthday with a debut party on Aug. 7, themed ‘A Celebration of Grace and Dreams.’

The milestone comes during a busy period for the young Kapuso star, who is currently appearing in the GMA Afternoon Prime series ‘You’re My Favorite Song’ while continuing to build her music career under GMV Studios.
During a recent media conference for her upcoming debut, Princess reflected on how she hopes to evolve as she enters adulthood. While she wants to retain the sweetness that many fans have come to know, she also hopes to showcase the more independent and resilient side of herself that viewers saw during her stint on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’, where she emerged as the Kapuso Fourth Big Placer after spending four months inside Bahay ni Kuya.
“Ngayon naman po na mag-18 ako, mas gusto ko pong ipakita yung side na napakita ko kahit papaano sa ‘PBB,’ yung actually very independent, yung very strong, yung strong woman na. Pero, at the same time, siyempre, gusto ko pa ring ma-keep yung image ko na sweet. Ayaw ko lang po kasi parang mag-cage sa isang personality,” she shared.
Princess also hopes that turning 18 will open more opportunities to expand her acting portfolio. Having appeared in projects such as ‘Royal Blood’, ‘Forever Young’, ‘Sparkle U’, and ‘You’re My Favorite Song’, she said she is eager to explore genres beyond her current roles.
“Gusto ko pong mag-try at maging kontrabida, or kaya po action or thriller. Hopefully po, when I turn 18, mas ma-explore po yung craft ko.”
When asked jokingly whether she would leave show business if she found her “Prince Charming,” Princess made it clear that her career remains one of her top priorities.
“Ang promise ko po sa sarili ko, and of course sa parents ko din po, is wala po talagang lalaki na makakasira sa career na pinaghirapan ko pong buuin. Sana po yung magiging future partner ko, supportive po siya sa career ko.”
Although she continues to pursue acting and singing, Princess remains committed to finishing her education. Currently a senior high school student at AMA, she revealed that she dreams of becoming a licensed pilot and is considering taking up Aeronautical Engineering in college.
“Actually gusto ko po talaga mag-piloto. Siguro aeronautical engineering, kasi sa side po ng dad ko mga engineers po talaga sila, at sa mom’s side ko naman po mga doctor.”

Princess first joined the Kapuso Network at the age of eight and appeared in filmmaker Peque Gallaga’s fantasy film ‘Magikland’. Since then, she has steadily built her career as both an actress and singer.
Aside from her television projects, Princess recently released her debut single ‘Amba’ under GMV Studios and revealed that another song is already in the works. She also hopes to record birit songs, perform medleys, and eventually write her own music.
