The Supremes of PPop– 1ST.ONE marks a milestone today with the official press conference and launch celebration of their debut album, “GIGIL,” held at Dogzilla Studio. The 10-track album, which became available soon on all major streaming platforms, is more than a collection of songs — it is a bold statement of individuality and creative ownership from a group determined to define its own sound.
The event also doubles as a celebration of the group’s sixth anniversary, marking six years since 1ST.ONE first came together.
“GIGIL” — a Filipino word capturing the overwhelming urge to squeeze something impossibly cute — reflects the members’ shared desire to move beyond conventional industry formulas and create music rooted in their own stories. Each member contributed a track drawn from personal experience, resulting in an album that trades polish for honesty and formula for feeling.
Thematically, the album explores rebellion, self-discovery, and the pursuit of creative freedom. With “GIGIL,” 1ST.ONE hopes to challenge conventions within the P-Pop scene and encourage fellow artists to pursue music that is authentically their own.
“With ‘GIGIL,’ we want to send a message: it’s time to break away from the molds and create music that truly represents us,” said members Ace, Alpha, Max, J, Jayson, and Russ in a unified statement. “We hope our album encourages others to embrace their individuality and voice.”
Today’s launch brings together the team behind the album, including music producer Ken Ponce and MV producers John Glen Labasug of Jing Entertainment, MV independent producers Christina and Jobim Vilar and ARR. Also joining the celebration is Sheryl Timan, producer of an upcoming UAE concert series set for October 2026.
“GIGIL” the album will soon be streaming on all major platforms.
