Content creators Abdul and Marsy became the first millionaires of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” Season 6 last Sunday (Aug. 2) after choosing the briefcase containing the P1 million jackpot prize.
According to Marsy, they had originally planned to pick briefcase number 14. However, before the taping, he dreamt about the number 6, prompting them to change their minds.
When they arrived at the studio, Marsy became even more convinced to stick with number 6 after noticing more signs. Their co-Lucky Star Jana Alanine brought a box containing six donuts, while her assigned briefcase was also number 6.
“That’s the first time I believed in signs. It was the same number I saw in my dream. Thanks also to the donuts,” Marsy shared.
The pair rejected the Banker’s final offer of P560,000 and chose to press on after the P5 and P10 briefcases were eliminated. With only P125,000 left on the board against the P1 million jackpot, Tito Abdul and Tito Marsy decided to take the risk. Their gamble paid off as briefcase number 6 contained the P1 million jackpot, making them the first millionaires of the new season.
Abdul and Marsy thanked “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” host Luis Manzano, and their fellow Lucky Stars for the opportunity to be part of the show.
Before Abdul and Marsy’s milestone win, fellow Lucky Stars Jeffrey Santos and Kim Domingo also came close to taking home the P1 million jackpot.
