Real-life couple AJ Raval and Aljur Abrenica made their first runway appearance together during a jewelry fashion show in Mandaluyong City on July 30, drawing attention from fans and members of the entertainment press.
The pair walked the runway in coordinated all-black ensembles adorned with sparkling jewelry as part of the fashion event, joining other celebrities who modeled the featured pieces.
Speaking to reporters after the show, Raval said she was grateful for the warm reception they received and shared that participating in a prestigious fashion event had been one of her longtime dreams.
Abrenica, meanwhile, described the event as a welcome reunion with friends and former colleagues from the entertainment industry whom he met backstage.
The couple also addressed questions about the possibility of tying the knot.
While Abrenica did not directly answer whether wedding plans are already in the works, he said they are allowing things to happen naturally and are currently focused on raising their children.
“Everything happens at the right time. Kung ano man ang nangyayari ngayon, ang masasabi namin [is] our priority is our kids. Lahat ng mga bata.”
Raval opted not to comment on the subject of marriage.
The actress, however, shared that she plans to gradually return to acting while balancing her responsibilities at home and continuing her studies.
“Yes po, pakonti-konti babalik rin ako. Pero for now po, mas priority po namin ‘yung family and also nag-aaral din po kasi ako ngayon eh.”
Abrenica likewise said they remain grateful for the projects coming their way, revealing that both of them have upcoming work lined up.
“Very thankful sa Panginoon. Si AJ also has project line-ups na. Maraming lumalapit. Also sa akin, may mga naka-pending na mga movies. We’re grateful. Abangan niyo.”
Abrenica was previously married to actress Kylie Padilla, with whom he shares two sons. The former couple separated in 2021 and have maintained a co-parenting arrangement.
In November 2025, Raval revealed that she is a mother of five. She shared that she has three children with Abrenica, while her eldest daughter is from a previous relationship. She also disclosed that her second child had passed away.
Since then, Raval and Abrenica have become more open about sharing moments with their blended family, including Abrenica’s two sons with Padilla, and have spoken about being grateful that they can now publicly celebrate their family life with their supporters.
