Bea Alonzo is enjoying every moment of married life as she and husband Vincent Co marked their first month as a married couple on August 13.

During the ‘Preview Conversations with Birch Tree’ event on August 13, the actress opened up about how her life has changed since marrying Vincent last month.

“Yes I didn’t realized how time flies ang bilis,” Bea said when reminded that they were celebrating their first monthsary that day.

Asked what had changed since becoming Mrs. Co, Bea pointed to one obvious difference: she and Vincent are now living under the same roof.

“’Yung tirahan ko iba na ngayon siyempre nag move-in na kami together obviously. Ano nga ba ang nagbago? Right now I’m on cloud 9, I’m very, very happy. I’m at my happiest. Siguro ‘yung ano..siyempre we wake up right next to each other everyday and it’s special,” she shared.

The interview was Bea’s first since her intimate wedding to Vincent, which surprised many because the couple managed to keep their plans largely private. Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay officiated the ceremony.

Bea explained that keeping the wedding private was not about deliberately withholding the news from the public. At the time, she simply felt that the occasion should be about her and Vincent.

“Honestly, I didn’t think that it’s something I really needed to share? So, parang hindi naman sa ipinagdadamot but at that point parang I felt that I just wanted it private and wanted it about us and no one else,” she explained.

“It wasn’t supposed to be a surprise na walang pasabi, it wasn’t to be like that. It felt like it was the right thing to do, parang the moment was ours,” Bea added.

Since their wedding, the actress has shared glimpses of their new life together on social media, including moving her belongings into the condominium unit she now shares with her husband.

The newlyweds have yet to go on their honeymoon as both remain busy with work. Bea is currently occupied with her television series for GMA Network, while Vincent serves as president of Puregold Price Club, Inc.

The couple is reportedly expected to take an overseas vacation after Bea finishes taping her series.

Bea attended ‘Preview Conversations with Birch Tree’ as the face of Birch Tree Adult Boost with Collagen. Hosted by Janeena Chan, the event also featured Preview editor-in-chief Marj Ramos-Clemente, board-certified dermatologist Bea Chan-Benavidez, and brand marketing manager Bea Ballesca-Martinez.
