Dimples Romana made it clear that there is no room for hurt feelings in her longtime friendship with Bea Alonzo-Co after she was unable to attend the actress’ surprise civil wedding to businessman Vincent Co.

During an event, Dimples was asked about Bea and Vincent’s July 13, 2026 wedding, which was held at the office of Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay.

The intimate ceremony came as a surprise, with the couple reportedly opting not to invite friends or family.

Despite being one of Bea’s closest and longtime friends, Dimples said she did not take her absence from the ceremony personally.

“Sa tagal naming magkaibigan, hindi uso sa matagal na magkakaibigan ang tampu-tampo,” Dimples said.

Dimples had previously been invited to Bea and Vincent’s initially planned wedding in Spain, which did not push through.

For the actress, however, friendship goes beyond being present at every single occasion. She considers herself fortunate to have witnessed many important chapters in Bea’s life throughout their years of friendship.

“Sabi ko nga kay Bey, in all that kasi, I’m just very fortunate to be the friend who’s always around being able to witness all the milestones in her life,” she shared.

Rather than focusing on not being present at the civil ceremony, Dimples appeared simply happy to see her best friend enter another major chapter of her life.

She also said she has no plans of giving Bea unsolicited advice about married life.

According to Dimples, Bea knows what she is doing, and she would rather respect her friend’s space than interfere. She would only offer advice if Bea personally asked for it.

Dimples and Bea’s friendship has endured for years, with the former being present for many of the latter’s personal and professional milestones.

Meanwhile, Dimples continues to be visible on TV5 following the conclusion of ‘Gud Morning Kapatid.’

She is part of the series ‘Someone Someday,’ starring Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid and directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu. The Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN production has also gained traction on Netflix.
