Former couple Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo shared a heartfelt moment during the media conference for ‘Our Yesterday’s Escape’, revealing that they have moved past their differences and even admitted that they missed each other after their breakup.

The pair, who first met as housemates on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7’ in 2016, ended their relationship in 2025. Despite their split, both stars said they have since developed a healthier friendship while working together again.

During the event, Marco playfully asked his former girlfriend whether she had missed him.

“Na-miss ko lang. Okay lang ba ‘yun? Na-miss mo ba ako, Heaven? Madali lang sagot, oo o hindi.”

Without hesitation, Heaven replied: “Ilang years kami magkasama—and yes. Na-miss ko si Marco.”

Marco also reflected on how their relationship has evolved since their breakup, admitting that they went through a difficult period before eventually finding peace with each other.

“We are exes and everything. Obviously as exes, nagkaroon kami ng phase na nagkaka-initan kami. Pero ngayon mas sobrang OK na kami. Walang galit. Walang kahit ano. I am happy being around you.”

Asked whether she would consider giving Marco another chance in the future, Heaven said she is not closing her heart to the possibility. However, she stressed that a second chance would only make sense if both people have genuinely matured, learned from their past mistakes, and become better versions of themselves.

According to the actress, love deserves another opportunity only when both individuals are emotionally ready and capable of building a healthier relationship than before.

The former couple reunites onscreen in ‘Our Yesterday’s Escape’, the sixth and final installment of author Gwy Saludes’ beloved University Series. The story explores themes of love, friendship, forgiveness, healing, self-discovery, and second chances, making the project especially meaningful for the actors given their shared history.

Heaven also admitted that she feels emotional about the franchise coming to an end, noting that the cast has become like family to her.

“Masaya at malungkot at the same time kasi ito mga kasama namin na gusto ko makasama hanggang sa pagtanda.”

Joining Heaven and Marco are members of the “Univerkada” cast, who will bring the final chapter of the literary universe to life. Our Yesterday’s Escape premieres September 5 exclusively on Viva One, serving as the concluding installment of the long-running University Series.
