Actress Katherine Luna admitted that she initially felt embarrassed about accepting the assistance extended to her by Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin, despite needing help with her health.

Martin reportedly shouldered the cost of Luna’s eye surgery and dental treatment. He has also continued to support the actress by giving her work, with Luna currently appearing in the ABS-CBN action-drama series ‘Sigabo’, which stars Martin and Julia Montes.
In the latest episode of ‘Ogie Diaz Inspires’ that aired on Sunday, August 16, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz recalled how he reached out to Martin after learning about Luna’s situation.
Diaz then asked Luna why she was hesitant to accept Martin’s assistance.
“Ikaw naman, nahihiya ka pa. Ba’t ka ba nahihiya?” he asked.
Luna explained that her hesitation stemmed from their troubled past and the things she had said and done that affected Martin and his family.
According to the actress, her guilt went beyond the controversy surrounding her previous claim involving Martin. She also acknowledged having said hurtful things that affected the actor and his family.
Luna previously apologized to Martin during an interview with broadcast journalist Julius Babao for his YouTube channel in February 2025. Martin eventually forgave her.
Despite their past, Martin has since extended a helping hand to Luna, including supporting her medical needs and giving her an opportunity to work.
