Rising Japanese singer and global viral sensation sasane has made her highly anticipated debut on THE FIRST TAKE alongside KiiiKiii’s LEESOL, performing their Japan-Korea collaboration, “mosi mosi? LEESOL (KiiiKiii) Remix,” in one take — and making their first-ever meeting a musical one.

At just 19, sasane has rapidly become one of Japan’s most exciting new artists. Originally known as a model, she began posting covers of songs on TikTok in March 2025. Her striking, almost “anime character come to life” visuals and distinctive voice quickly caught fire around the world, attracting fans across Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, the United States, and beyond.

Her original song “mosi mosi?” exploded following its digital release in April 2026. The track’s instantly recognizable “moshi moshi, can you hear me?” hook inspired a viral “phone pose” and sped-up full-body dance trend that spread across TikTok.

Blending a nostalgic sound reminiscent of 2000s Shibuya-kei and Japanese video game music with an unmistakably modern pop sensibility, “mosi mosi?” quickly crossed borders. The song simultaneously hit No. 1 on TikTok in both Japan and Korea, while also topping the Shazam and Spotify Viral charts in both countries.The song has now generated more than 3.7 million TikTok UGC posts and over 5.3 billion cumulative views worldwide. Following the release of the LEESOL (KiiiKiii) Remix in June, Sasane is continuing her rapid international rise, with an upcoming appearance at YouTube Music Weekend 12.0, one of YouTube’s largest music events, on August 23, 2026.

In June, sasane teamed up with LEESOL of KiiiKiii for the “mosi mosi? LEESOL (KiiiKiii) Remix,” bringing together two of the most exciting new names emerging from Japan and Korea.

Now, the pair have taken their collaboration to THE FIRST TAKE, the globally recognized YouTube music series famous for capturing artists performing live in a single take.

LEESOL is a member of KiiiKiii, the five-member girl group signed to STARSHIP Entertainment, whose track “404 (New Era)” has been making waves globally. For this special performance, sasane and LEESOL met face-to-face for the very first time and performed their Japan-Korea remix together in one take.
