Will Ashley and Mika Salamanca once again sent ‘MikWill’ fans into a frenzy after taking on a 24-hour boyfriend-girlfriend challenge that came with an unexpected revelation about their relationship.
In Mika’s latest vlog uploaded on August 9, the two agreed to pretend to be a couple for an entire day—complete with sweet nicknames, playful pickup lines, a dinner date, and plenty of kilig moments.
But for Will, the challenge apparently felt like more than just content.
When Mika asked whether spending 24 hours as a couple would be easy for them, Will confidently replied, “Oo naman. Ano na ‘to, practice.”
The actor continued teasing Mika throughout their date, even calling her his “princess” as they went grocery shopping for ingredients he would later prepare for dinner.
“Ipagluluto ko ang prinsesa ko,” Will said.
“Fantasy ko ‘yun eh, na makasama ka,” he added, prompting Mika to react to his seemingly endless romantic lines.
Their playful chemistry continued while cooking, with Will joking, “Nagluto siya ng curry, tapos tinuruan niya ako… kung paano magmahal.”
Mika quickly corrected him while laughing, “Tinuruan ko siya paano magluto ng curry!”
Will later prepared their dinner while Mika rested. The two eventually shared the meal, even feeding each other before heading outside for more activities, including taking pictures at a photo booth and riding scooters and bicycles.
However, things became more interesting when their 24-hour “relationship” finally had to come to an end.
“Kailangan na nating magpaalam sa mga viewers as magdyowa,” Mika told Will.
Will was clearly not thrilled about ending their pretend relationship.
“Ayoko nga. Tignan mo, may end tuloy,” he responded.
He then dropped a revelation that immediately caught Mika’s attention.
“Kung hindi mo ’ko binasted last year, e ’di sana araw-araw tayong ganito,” Will said.
Mika did not elaborate on what exactly happened between them at the time, simply responding, “That’s a topic for another day.”
Will nevertheless appeared to confirm that something happened between them last year, saying they were now grateful for how things turned out.
“We are grateful na that happened last year. But look at us now?” he said.
Mika playfully emphasized their friendship instead.
“Look at us now, we are stronger as a friend!” she replied.
Before officially ending their 24-hour jowa challenge, Will had one more surprise for Mika.
“I love you,” he told her, leaving the content creator visibly caught off guard.
The vlog has since added another layer to the continuing speculation surrounding MikWill’s real-life relationship.
In their previous public statements, Mika acknowledged that Will remains consistent in pursuing her and that their relationship has continued to deepen.
For now, however, neither Mika nor Will has explicitly confirmed that they are officially a couple.
