Chloe San Jose has fueled fresh speculation surrounding the Yulo family after claiming that something similar to what allegedly happened between Carlos Yulo and his mother, Angelica Yulo, has now happened to his younger brother Karl Eldrew Yulo.

The intriguing remark came after a netizen noticed that Karl Eldrew has recently been spending time with Carlos and Chloe.

On Saturday, September 12, Chloe posted a TikTok video showing her dancing with the two gymnast brothers to Bugoy na Koykoy’s ‘Tatlong Wife.’

“POV: mga invited sa kasal ng tatlong wife,” read the text accompanying the video.

One netizen then asked about Karl Eldrew’s presence with the couple.

“What’s their issue? Why the bunso is suddenly on their side?” the netizen wrote.

Instead of brushing off the question, Chloe gave a cryptic but direct response involving the brothers’ mother.

“Teeee kasi ginawa ng mama nila yung ginawa nya kay caloy noon, ngayon kay eldrew naman. Sooooo… 1+1 niyo na lang,” Chloe replied.

She did not elaborate on what Angelica allegedly did to Karl Eldrew, nor did she provide details about the current relationship between the younger gymnast and his mother.

Her response, however, quickly caught the attention of netizens, particularly because Karl Eldrew and another younger Yulo sibling, Elaiza Andriel, have recently been seen spending time with Carlos and Chloe.

The development comes as the Yulo family conflict has once again become a topic of public discussion following Carlos and Chloe’s recent interview with Karen Davila.

During the interview, Carlos was asked whether he would invite his parents to his future wedding with Chloe.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist said he would prefer not to have them there, explaining that he wants their wedding to remain a happy occasion centered on himself and Chloe.

“For me, I think, ’cause, yung kasal po namin ‘yan and ako po yung… kami po, relationship po namin ‘yan and mas pipiliin kong kami na lang,” Carlos said.

“Ayaw ko ring masira yung moment namin para sa aming dapat dalawa.”

He added that while he has already forgiven his parents for things that happened between them, he intends to maintain certain boundaries.

“Ayaw ko yung ano, eh, paano po ba… mamantsahan pa. And marami na rin silang, marami na silang ginawa na pinatawad ko na and hanggang doon na lang din po.”

“So, hindi po. Yes po, gusto ko sa amin lang po yun, and I really want it to be really full of love and joy kapag nangyari po yun,” he said.

Chloe, for her part, said she would respect whatever decision makes Carlos comfortable.

“Well, honestly, they’re… of course, they’re your parents, you know… what I think, what he’s comfortable with, then that would be what I’m comfortable with,” she said.

“I think, it’s because it’s really, that wedding day, it will really be about us. Whatever the outside people do or the guests do, I think we would just have, we would really have our eyes locked onto each other.”

“So with or without them, we would have our eyes locked onto each other so it wouldn’t bother me as much,” Chloe added.

The strained relationship between Carlos and his parents became a major public controversy around the time of his historic two-gold-medal performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Among the issues publicly discussed by the family were Carlos’ finances, his relationship with Chloe, and disagreements involving his training and living arrangements.

Angelica eventually held a press conference in 2024 where she apologized to her son and expressed her desire to end the public conflict and focus instead on celebrating his Olympic achievement.

Two years later, however, Carlos’ latest remarks indicate that while he says he has forgiven his parents, reconciliation to the point of including them in his future wedding may not be something he currently wants.

Now, Chloe’s comment involving Karl Eldrew has opened another question: whether another rift has developed within the Yulo household.

For now, Chloe’s cryptic response remains the only public claim about the supposed situation involving Karl Eldrew and his mother. Karl Eldrew himself has not publicly explained whether he has a disagreement with his parents or why he has recently been spending more time with Carlos and Chloe.
