Emerging Filipino singer-songwriter Jenzen celebrated the release of his debut EP, TO:U, with an intimate gathering at A.bode Space in Manila, bringing together local music fans, friends, and supporters for an evening that looked back on his musical beginnings while introducing the next chapter of his career.

Held last Saturday, the celebration carried a distinctly personal atmosphere. Rather than simply serving as a launch for Jenzen’s first EP, the event became an occasion to reconnect with people who have been part of his musical journey.

One of the evening’s most anticipated moments was the reunion of J3, with Jenzen, Jeremy Novela, and Jonas Icaro coming together to perform onstage once again after a long time apart.

The reunion gave the launch a nostalgic dimension. While the evening centered on Jenzen’s development as a solo artist, seeing the members of J3 back together offered a reminder of the musical relationships and experiences that preceded his current chapter.

“Iba talaga yung live performances sa online kasi mas nararamdaman mo yung emotions at nakikita mo yung audience mo,” he shared.

That experience became part of the foundation for his approach to music. The direct reactions from listeners helped him appreciate the emotional side of performing and contributed to the relatable, personal quality he brings to his songwriting.

With TO:U, those experiences have been translated into a debut EP that introduces Jenzen’s voice as a recording artist.
