Rhian Rivera and Lea Bernabe are promising a more intense outing for VMX viewers as they team up for the first time in the upcoming special ‘POV: Pasilip on VMX.’

Directed by Carby Salvador, ‘POV’ revisits selected scenes from several VMX films built around voyeurism, secrets, forbidden relationships, and temptation, with Rivera and Bernabe serving as hosts.
For Rivera, working with Bernabe for the first time gave them an opportunity to push themselves further for the project.
“Kailangan ninyo itong panoorin dahil sobrang intense nito. First time namin ito ni Lea na magkatrabaho. Nagkita kami sa set at napag-usapan namin na mag-all-out na,” Rivera said.
“Alam namin kung ano ang goal namin at pareho kaming competitive,” she added.
Rivera even recalled one moment during production that, according to her, showed just how energetic their shoot became.
“Muntik nang mahulog ang cameraman sa puwesto niya dahil sa mga pinagggawa namin,” she said with a laugh.
She explained that they also wanted to make each of their appearances different from the others.
“Kailangan naming gawing iba ang mga eksena sa bawat paglabas namin sa screen dahil sa bawat pagkakataon, kailangan naming magpakita ng ibang flavor. Art ito para sa amin,” Rivera said.

Bernabe similarly said they went beyond what they had previously done for VMX.
“Hindi kayo mabibitin kapag pinanood ninyo ito. Makikita ninyo kung ano ang kaya naming gawin. Times 20 ito kumpara sa content na nagawa na namin in the past,” she said.
Bernabe also cited being comfortable with her scene partner as an important part of doing the project.
“Para sa akin, kung komportable ka sa taong kapartner mo, kaya mong gawin ang lahat,” she said.
Rivera is known to VMX viewers for projects including ‘Scissors’ and ‘Scandal Queen,’ while Bernabe previously appeared in ‘Boy Kaldag’ and ‘Sipsipan.’

In ‘POV,’ the two will guide viewers through the compilation special while sharing their perspective as VMX performers.
Salvador said the production team discussed how they could distinguish ‘POV’ from previous VMX content.
“Kung naging sexy tayo noon, kailangan ngayon ay three or four times na mas intense para maging espesyal,” Salvador said.
“Pinag-usapan namin ito ng cast and production at kailangan naming ibigay ang lahat-lahat. Hindi kami tumitigil hangga’t hindi namin nagagawa ang lahat ng makakaya at mailalabas namin,” he added.
Salvador previously directed VMX specials ‘VMX Rewind’ and ‘Patikim ni Robb Guinto,’ as well as the films ‘Delusyon’ and ‘Package Deal.’

‘POV: Pasilip on VMX’ will feature selected scenes from ‘Scorpio Nights 3,’ ‘Scorpio Nights 4,’ ‘Sundutan,’ ‘Butas,’ ‘Silip sa Apoy,’ and ‘Selina’s Gold.’
The featured stories involve different characters and situations connected by the act of secretly observing private moments, which leads to revelations, relationships, and consequences within their respective narratives.
‘POV: Pasilip on VMX’ begins streaming September 8 on VMX.
