Tatay Elon (Aron Israel Mallari Manalo in real life), the biological father of Tyronia Fowler, has spoken up in defense of his daughter after she tearfully appealed to him for support amid the negative comments she has been receiving online.
During her September 1 livestream, Tyronia became emotional while discussing the criticism directed at her amid controversies involving her mother, social media personality Toni Fowler.
At one point, Tyronia directly appealed to her father.
“Tatay Elon, iparamdam mo naman na iniisip mo ako. Ipagtanggol mo naman ’yung panganay mo. Ipagtanggol mo naman ako, Tatay, kahit ngayon lang. Ako naman,” she said while crying.
After clips from the livestream circulated online, Tatay Elon issued a statement defending his daughter and asking social media users not to involve her in controversies concerning adults.
“Ako okay lang sa ’kin, i-hate n’yo ako nang i-hate—’wag lang ’yung anak ko,” he said.
In his statement, Tatay Elon stressed that Tyronia should not be targeted over issues in which, according to him, she had no involvement.
“Ang aking anak ay walang kinalaman sa mga isyung ito. Siya ay isang menor de edad na nararapat lamang na maprotektahan mula sa anumang uri ng paninira, pamamahiya, bullying, at mapanirang pahayag o posts online,” he wrote.
“Bilang kanyang ama, responsibilidad kong pangalagaan ang kanyang kapakanan, dignidad, at katahimikan,” he added.
Tyronia’s livestream came amid renewed online discussions involving Toni and actress-vlogger Jelai Andres.
During the livestream, Tyronia addressed Andres and spoke about how the criticism surrounding the adults’ past controversy had also reached her and other younger members of the family.
Tatay Elon also said he was prepared to pursue legal remedies if he believed posts targeting his daughter continued.
“Kaya sa sinumang patuloy na gagawa, magpapakalat, o makikibahagi sa mga mapanira o mapanirang-puring posts laban sa aking anak, hindi po ako magdadalawang-isip na gawin ang mga nararapat na legal na hakbang upang maprotektahan siya,” he said.
His statement was a warning that he may take legal action and did not identify any specific person or post as the subject of a filed legal case.
Tatay Elon clarified that he was not asking the public to take his family’s side. Instead, he appealed for Tyronia to be left out of issues involving adults.
“Sana ay maunawaan ninyo ako bilang isang ama. Naniniwala akong kung sarili ninyong anak ang nasa ganitong sitwasyon, gagawin din ninyo ang lahat upang sila ay maprotektahan,” he said.
“Maraming salamat sa inyong pang-unawa at respeto.”
