An October unlike any other! Regal Studio Presents is rolling out a fresh, meaningful season starting this Sunday, October 4.
The season opener kicks off with “Sukob Sisters,” headlined by Arra San Agustin and Sam Acosta as estranged sisters Haley and Gemma. Following their father’s death, the administrator of their father’s will brings them to his house, where they meet and discover they are both scheduled to marry on the exact same day.
Bound by the traditional Filipino superstition of “sukob” or the belief that siblings marrying within the same year brings bad luck, they resort to sabotaging each other’s wedding preparations, hoping the other calls off the wedding.
Following this, viewers can look forward to “Bata Bata Paano Ka Tumanda?” starring Sparkle artist Ralph Miaco as Lucas, a 10-year-old boy who wishes to become an adult for his birthday so he can experience everything grown-ups can do. His wish magically comes true overnight when he wakes up trapped in an adult body.
The excitement continues with more episodes lined up, including “Kumare Feud” starring Maey Bautista and Riel Lomadilla, and “Operation Darling” featuring Jon Lucas and Sarah Edwards.
