Brigiding is bringing CAKE back—bigger, bolder, and this time, to the theatre stage. The experimental drag show returns with a bigger vision, bringing together drag, theatre, music, movement, and storytelling while staying true to the fearless, rebellious spirit at its core. CAKE will be staged on November 5, 2026, at Teatrino Promenade.

Brigiding brings CAKE back bigger and bolder as the experimental drag show heads to the theatre stage on November 5, 2026, at Teatrino Promenade. This month’s theme, “LET THEM EAT CAKE,” celebrates excess, pleasure, rebellion, and unapologetic self-expression.
First created in 2019, CAKE was envisioned by Brigiding as a space for drag artists to push beyond the expected. It became a creative playground where performers could experiment, take risks, and explore their artistry beyond the conventions of a traditional drag show.
Over the years, CAKE has taken on different themes and forms, with editions including Disco Maniac, Heartbreaks and Promises, Never Hide, Adik Sa’yo, and GO GAGA, each giving performers a new world to interpret through their own stories and artistry. Now, two years after its last staging in 2024, CAKE is ready for its next chapter.
Following her historic win as the first Slaysian Royale winner, Brigiding found herself facing one question again and again: “What’s your next big move?” But after searching for what should come next, she found herself returning to where it all began.
“I spent a lot of time searching for the answer. I got confused and felt the pressure to constantly do something bigger, better, next. Until I realized… my heart was still right where it all started,” Brigiding shared.
This new chapter brings CAKE to the theatre stage, reconnecting Brigiding with her own roots in theatre. With a bigger canvas to play with, the show continues to give drag artists and contemporary performers the freedom to experiment, tell their stories, and create without having to fit into a box.
For its return, CAKE takes on the theme “LET THEM EAT CAKE,” a celebration of excess, pleasure, rebellion, and unapologetic self-expression. Each performer is invited to interpret the theme through their own stories and artistry, creating performances that push the possibilities of what drag can look like onstage.
“This show is my personal love letter to every drag artist and contemporary performer who dares to be different, challenges expectations, and leaves every ounce of their soul on the stage,” Brigiding said.
CAKE will be staged on November 5, 2026, at Teatrino Promenade. The show is strictly for audiences 18 years old and above. Tickets are now available at brigidingcake.veent.net.
