Kapuso actress Katrina Halili has chosen not to publicly take sides in the ongoing controversy involving Jennylyn Mercado, Patrick Garcia and Dennis Trillo, although she assured Jennylyn of her personal support.

During an interview, Katrina revealed that she had communicated with Jennylyn about the issue, including sending her a text message.
However, when asked for her thoughts on the controversy, Katrina declined to elaborate.
“Ayaw ko pong mag-comment kasi ’di ba, less talk, less mistake,” she said.
Despite her decision to stay out of the public discussion, Katrina emphasized that Jennylyn knows how much she cares for her.
“Alam naman po niya na mahal na mahal ko siya, and during that time, pinaramdam ko din sa kanya na nandiyan ako as kapatid sa kanya,” she shared.
Katrina also expressed empathy for Jennylyn as a fellow mother, acknowledging how difficult it can be when family matters become the subject of public scrutiny.
“Alam n’yo po, kahit sino po, nanay po ’yun eh. So talagang mahirap po talaga,” she said.
Her remarks came amid renewed discussions about Patrick’s relationship with his son, Alex Jazz, following the actor’s interview with Ogie Diaz in which he addressed his past relationship with Jennylyn and his absence during her pregnancy.
Dennis, who has helped raise Jazz, subsequently spoke out in defense of his family while also appealing for an end to online attacks, particularly those involving the children.
Katrina, meanwhile, has opted to express her concern privately rather than add to the public exchange.
The actress’s comments come as she takes on a new endorsement partnership with Luxe Slim’s Konjac Zero line alongside singer and fellow brand ambassador Kris Lawrence.
The partnership was marked by a contract-signing event attended by Luxe Slim founder and CEO Anna Magkawas and Sparkle Assistant Vice President for Talent Sales, Branding, and Marketing Anne Puno-Ignacio.
Konjac Zero offers food alternatives such as shirataki dry rice and sauces, marketed by the brand for consumers seeking lower-carbohydrate meal options.
