Anne Curtis is attracting attention from international tourists at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, according to award-winning television host Valerie Tan, who shared her experience visiting the attraction while filming Season 11 of ‘I Heart PH’.
During the travel and lifestyle program’s media conference, Valerie recalled being impressed by the lifelike appearance of the celebrity wax figures, particularly Anne’s.
Valerie admitted that seeing the figures up close was surprisingly exciting.
“I was so amazed kasi ang galing talaga ng pagkakagawa. It was so, so realistic. I was able to go up close, pati parang texture ng skin, hair, anything, parang I was starstruck kahit alam kong wax sila,” she shared.
Anne’s figure especially caught her attention.
“And then, na-starstruck din ako sa ganda ng dyosa na si Anne Curtis,” Valerie added.
The host was equally delighted to see foreign tourists taking pictures with Filipino celebrities featured at the museum.
“Nakakatuwa, alam n’yo ba na ang daming foreigners na nagpapa-picture din kina Catriona Gray at Anne Curtis, so parang nakaka-proud din kasi kilala nila ang mga Pinoy celebrities,” she said.
Aside from Anne and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, other Filipino personalities represented at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong include Manny Pacquiao, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Kathryn Bernardo.
Valerie’s visit to Madame Tussauds is among the highlights of the upcoming season of ‘I Heart PH’, which showcases destinations through travel, culture, entertainment, and food. The program also features the Hong Kong Palace Museum, home to galleries displaying Chinese historical artifacts, ceramics, paintings, and other artworks.
During the media conference, Valerie was asked which celebrity she would most like to explore Hong Kong with. She immediately named television personality and Queen of Talk Kris Aquino.
