Vice Ganda drew laughter from fellow ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts and viewers after playfully teasing Teddy Corpuz about his earlier remarks on frequently being positioned at the side of the noontime show’s stage.

During the October 6 episode of ‘It’s Showtime’, Vice brought up Teddy’s comments while they were hosting the ‘Miss Q&A: Reyna Talak-era 2026’ segment.

“Dito ka sa gitna. Mamaya, magreklamo ka naman na nasa gilid ka,” Vice jokingly told Teddy, prompting laughter onstage.

The comedian then remarked on how seemingly harmless comments can turn into online controversies.

“Kaya kung anu-ano na lang isyu ng mga tao,” Vice added.

Teddy immediately played along while denying that there was any issue behind his earlier statement.

“Wala nga. Kung anu-anong isyu. Gumagawa kayo ng isyu. Sub ka nga rito, sub na kayo rito,” he responded.

The exchange stemmed from Teddy’s guest appearance on TV5’s musical variety program ‘Vibe PH’ in September, where he performed and promoted his new song.

While speaking with host Ryle Santiago, Teddy jokingly explained why he had positioned himself near the edge of the stage.

“Wala kang napansin?” Teddy asked Ryle.

“Doon ako palagi nakapuwesto. Doon kasi lagi ako nakapuwesto sa show namin sa kabila, e. So nasanay talaga ako. Pasensiya na kayo, nasanay lang,” he explained, referring to It’s Showtime.

His remarks subsequently circulated on social media, with some netizens interpreting them as a possible complaint about his placement during the noontime program.

However, Teddy did not explicitly express dissatisfaction with his fellow hosts or the show’s production team.

Vice’s playful response appeared to poke fun at the speculation rather than suggest any serious disagreement between them.

In a video clip shared on the official ‘It’s Showtime’ Facebook page, Teddy could also be seen stepping backward during the exchange and nearly losing his footing near the edge of the stage, adding to the humorous moment.

The hosts continued the segment together, with Teddy eventually positioned between Vice and Vhong Navarro.
