Actress Julia Montes is expanding her professional pursuits beyond television and film as she joins Chemist and Entrepreneur Pinky Tobiano in introducing Swiss Proli CellWhite+, the latest addition to the Swiss Proli wellness and beauty brand.
The product was officially unveiled during a grand launch on October 23, 2026, at Gallio Events Hall in Parañaque City. The gathering brought together beauty enthusiasts, industry leaders, media representatives, and digital creators for an event that highlighted the brand’s latest offering and the business partnership between its two Co-Founders.

The launch marked another development for Swiss Proli as it continues to establish its presence in the wellness and beauty sector. With CellWhite+, the brand is presenting an approach that connects beauty with inner wellness, while placing emphasis on product formulation and the science behind its offerings.
Tobiano, a Chemist and Co-Founder of Swiss Proli, underscored the company’s commitment to clean, science-backed formulations. She emphasized the importance of maintaining strict standards in developing products intended to provide health and cosmetic benefits.
As the brand’s scientific and business lead, Tobiano brings her background in chemistry to product development, while Montes contributes her experience in the entertainment industry and her growing involvement in entrepreneurship. Their collaboration was among the central themes of the event, particularly as Montes discussed how she entered the business and adjusted to the responsibilities that came with becoming a company executive.
The launch featured the unveiling of CellWhite+, product demonstrations, and discussions about the chemistry behind the formulation. It also offered attendees an opportunity to become more familiar with Swiss Proli and its growing community.
For Montes, joining the wellness business was not something she initially expected. During the launch, the actress shared that her entry into entrepreneurship began with a food trial before Tobiano became part of the picture.
She recalled that when she first started exploring business, she did not have someone to guide her through the process. Much of what she learned came from experience, including the challenges and uncertainties that came with trying something unfamiliar.
Montes also revealed that she had prayed for someone who could guide her in business, making her eventual meeting and partnership with Tobiano particularly meaningful.

“Nag start ako sa food trial lang and then pumasok si achi (Pinky Tobiano) hindi ko aakalain. Naghahanap lang talaga ko. Ang tangi kong pinag pray kay Lord, ‘Lord gusto ko yung taong mag ga-guide sakin for business.’ Kasi nung pumasok talaga ako sa business, wala akong tao na nagtuturo sakin. Talagang lahat, trial and error,” Montes shared.
Her story provided a personal look at the beginnings of their professional relationship. What started as an exploration of business opportunities eventually developed into a partnership in the wellness and beauty industry.
The actress’ experience also highlights the adjustments involved in moving from a career largely associated with acting to one that requires participation in business operations and decision-making. While her work in entertainment has placed her in front of audiences for years, entrepreneurship has introduced a different set of responsibilities and challenges.
Through her partnership with Tobiano, Montes has found a business mentor whose background in chemistry and entrepreneurship complements her own experience and perspective.
One of the more candid moments during the event came when Montes discussed her experience as CEO of Swiss Proli CellWhite+.
Although holding an executive position may sound impressive, she admitted that the reality of the role is considerably more demanding than simply having the title. She described the experience as surreal but acknowledged that it also comes with nervousness and significant responsibility.
“Surreal po yung pakiramdam, kinakabahan ako at the end of the day, at hindi sya madali… Masarap siyang pakinggan, masarap siyang i-goal, pero yung totoong reality ng CEO mahirap. Kaya saludo ako kay achi (Pinky Tobiano),” she said.
Her statement reflected the learning curve she has experienced since entering the business. Montes recognized that leading a company involves more than setting goals or taking on an executive title. It requires an understanding of the work behind the business and the responsibility of helping move it forward.
She also expressed admiration for Tobiano, acknowledging the challenges that come with managing a business and the experience her Co-Founder brings to their partnership.
For Montes, the position represents a significant step outside her established career in showbiz. Her remarks suggested that she is approaching the role with both excitement and an awareness of the work required to fulfill its responsibilities.

Tobiano, meanwhile, shared her thoughts on being more visible to the public and using that visibility to communicate messages that can inspire others.
During the interview, she was asked about her daughter’s observation that she wanted to be in the spotlight. Tobiano reacted with laughter before explaining that public attention is not necessarily her main motivation. Instead, she sees it as an opportunity to reach people and share the value of science in a more meaningful way.
“I want to be in the spotlight? Sinabi nya yun? (laughs). Nakakaloka! Well, I like maybe using it as a platform to inspire other people. And i like using science to be able to convey inspirational messages,” she said.
Her response reflected the approach she wants to take in connecting her scientific background with public engagement. As a Chemist and Entrepreneur, Tobiano sees science not only as a foundation for product formulation but also as a way to communicate ideas and encourage others.
That perspective is also evident in the way Swiss Proli presented CellWhite+ during the launch, with product demonstrations and discussions about the chemistry behind the formulation forming part of the program.
The partnership with Montes gives Tobiano another avenue to bring the brand to a wider audience, while allowing the actress to become more involved in an industry that is different from her usual work in front of the camera.
Beyond her responsibilities in the wellness business, Montes is also exploring another side of the entertainment industry through her role as Executive Producer of Sigabo.
Her involvement in production has reportedly given her a deeper appreciation for the people working behind the scenes. Now that she has taken on responsibilities beyond acting, she has become more aware of the effort and coordination required from production staff to bring a project together.
The experience offers another dimension to her professional development. While acting requires her to focus on her performance and character, being an Executive Producer gives her a closer look at the work involved in making a production happen.
Her growing responsibilities in both business and entertainment show how she is gradually exploring roles beyond performing. From learning the realities of running a wellness company to gaining experience in production, Montes is taking on opportunities that require her to understand different aspects of an organization and its people.

The conversation also touched on Montes’ personal life, particularly her relationship with actor Coco Martin. Tobiano expressed her willingness to become a Ninang at their wedding should the couple decide to tie the knot.
Her remark added a personal and lighthearted moment to the launch, reflecting the bond that has developed between the two Co-Founders beyond their professional partnership.
While Tobiano’s comment was not an announcement of any wedding plans, it showed the personal warmth behind their working relationship. Their partnership, as discussed during the event, has grown from a business connection into a relationship in which mentorship and personal support also play a part.
The grand launch concluded with the introduction of Swiss Proli CellWhite+, placing the product at the center of the brand’s latest efforts in the wellness and beauty market.
The event emphasized the company’s commitment to clean, science-backed formulations, with Tobiano highlighting the standards applied to its products. Product demonstrations and discussions about the formulation gave guests a closer look at the new offering and the brand’s approach to wellness.
While the launch presented CellWhite+ as part of Swiss Proli’s expanding product line, detailed clinical results and specific ingredient or efficacy information were not provided during the event.
More broadly, the gathering highlighted the partnership between two women coming from different professional backgrounds. Tobiano brings her experience as a Chemist and Entrepreneur, while Montes is expanding her career through business leadership and production work alongside her acting commitments.

For Montes, becoming a CEO has been a learning experience that she describes as both surreal and challenging. For Tobiano, the partnership provides an opportunity to combine science, entrepreneurship, and public engagement.
With the introduction of CellWhite+, Swiss Proli is moving forward with its wellness and beauty offerings while the two Co-Founders continue to develop their partnership in business. The launch was not only a presentation of a new product but also an opportunity for Montes and Tobiano to share the experiences, lessons, and personal connections that brought them together.
