Is Kim Chiu being considered as the new Queen of Horror movies after Kris Aquino?
“The Ghost Bride” is the second horror film of Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu with Chito Roño. They first worked together in “The Healing” with Star For All Season, Vilma Santos.
It was Direk Chito who made Kris Aquino the title, “Horror Queen” with their three box-office hit movies, Feng Shui (2004), Sukob (2006), and Feng Shui 2 (2014).
With this, the 27-year old actress was being tagged as the Horror queen of Philippine movies.
“Siguro, iba. Iba si Ate Kris, iba siya. Siya talaga is really the horror queen by Chito Roño!” she reacted.
“Iba ‘yon. Siyempre, ako, iba din. Siguro I’m just very thankful and honored na mabigyan ako ng ganito kalaking pelikula, na ipinagkatiwala nila sa akin ito.
“I am blessed by the trust that they have been giving to me,” she added.
On the other hand, Kim shared that her friend Kris Aquino will watch the movie as support to her. “Manunuod daw siya! Sabi niya, ‘Papanuorin ko kung kaya ng schedule, punta ako sa premiere night.’
“Sobra siyang supportive, ‘Kamusta yung shooting? How’s Direk Chito?’ Okay naman. Namimiss niya si Direk Chito!” she ended.
In 2015, Kris, Kim, and Direk Chito got the chance to work together in the movie “Etiquette for Mistresses.”
