Viewers nationwide warmly welcomed Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona’s return to television as “Wansapanataym Presents: Jasmin’s Flower Powers” led in nationwide ratings for two Sundays.
The new “Wansapanataym” series starring “ElNella” was a hit among viewers as it scored a national TV rating of 29.4% last Sunday (Nov 19) versus “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko” with only 19.4%, according to data from Kantar Media. The show also premiered strongly last November 12 as it scored 31.2%, compared to its rival program with only 19.4%.
Although at first they seemed to be a good match, Jasmin (Janella) and Thor (Elmo)’s love story ended abruptly and bitterly. Because of his mother’s disapproval, Jasmin had to break up with Thor without him knowing the real reason behind her decision.
The ex-lovers are now forced to grapple with their past after fate brought them again together when Jasmin started working for the company owned by Thor’s family.
But while Jasmin is determined to do well in her job, Thor is making it hard for her by trying to hurt her feelings and showing around a new girlfriend.
Will Jasmin and Thor ever get along again? How will they get over their past?
