Star Cinema recently announced that award-winning director Olivia Lamasan is the new managing director. She replaced the outgoing director Malou Santos, however, she will serve as the consultant of the film arm of ABS-CBN and still manage Star Creatives.
Star Creatives produces dome of the hit teleseryes like “Pusong Ligaw” and “La Luna Sangre.”
On the other hand, Star Cinema’s public relations officer Roxy Liquigan will now head Star Music.
Direk Olive was famous for her 1995 hit movie with Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga, “Sana Maulit Muli.” The movie was shot in the United States and received various awards and nominations from award-giving bodies.
The 2016 hit movie “Barcelona: The Love Untold” was the last movie directed by Olivia. The movie features the love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
