Jessy shared how Luis and her dad spent time together.
In a report of “TV Patrol,” Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola shared how her British-Lebanese father surprised her during the “Maria Mercedes” actress’ birthday. The 25-year old actress expressed happiness on meeting her dad on her special day.
“First time niyang pumunta dito I was seven. Pumunta siya ulit mga five years ago, kasama yung ate ko. Biglang pagdating niya ngayon natuwa ako, he made time for me,” she shared.
Jessy also talked about his boyfriend Luis meeting his dad. According to her, Luis had a good time bonding with her father.
“Yung dad ko sobrang joker rin. Pagkanagkikita silang dalawa, wala na silang ginawa kundi magjoke,” she said.
Is Luis already asking his dad permission to marry her?
“Niloloko na nga nila ako. My dad kasi he’s a believer of… siya kasi parang ‘O, you’re turning 25, do you know the Lebanese way? They get married at 25.’ So bigla akong nagulat sabi ko wait no. I have so much to do,” she answered.
“Everyday pinapa-obvious niya sa akin na ready na ako. I think that’s one way of showing his love for me na he’s patiently waiting,” she continued.
For Jessy, she do not need to choose between love life or career.
“There are things in life na hindi mo mapagpapalit sa career di ba? I can whip it up again and I’m taking my time. I’m really thankful for the strengths and the love that my family, my friends, si Luis na binibigay sa akin. That itself is a blessing for me,” she stated.
