Chariss Jedidiah Gusay, a huge fan of KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla), recently went under fire among other KathNiel fans. Chariss recently met Daniel and live-tweeted her experience. She also posted a photo on Instagram with a lengthy caption.
In the said Instagram post, the caption also read:
“I know that I’m old enough to post fangirling stuffs but here it is. I’ve been an avid fangirl of Daniel Padilla since I was in 6th grade I think? And since then, I’ve been following him in all his events such as mall shows, tapings, concerts etc. but I never had the chance to see him up close. I never had a single photo with him.”
Chariss’ caption also includes:
“It’s definitely a dream come true for a fangirl like me to be able with him in one place, to have a chance to chat with him for a while, to hug, shake hands & “beso” with him, and of course, to be able to take cute photos and videos with him. At first I felt so shy, I gathered all the strength I had (as my face turns red bc I always blush) to go near him. He even initiated to get my bag and place it in his chair when he felt that I’m feeling a bit awkward and nervous.”
Chariss further wrote, expressing her gratitude towards Daniel.
“It’s such a privilege to meet you, Supremo DJ!!! Thank you so much for being so accommodating and approachable. No wonder why God has been showering you with all the blessings that you have right now. A person like you who’s transparent, humble and low key deserves all the good things in the world. I cannot describe my feelings right at that very moment. My hear is bleeding blue! DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET.”
Chariss live-tweeted her experience. She felt happy and blessed on her encounter with Daniel.
“So after ko magpapicture kay Daniel, sabi ng mga kasama niya “ang swerte naman maging isang Daniel Padilla” OMGGG tapos nakipagkilala sakin yung mga friends and ibang celebrities na kasama niya. Sobrang bait, sobrang approachable at nakipagchikahan pa samin ni mommy.”
Chariss also wrote on the tweet, how she experienced Daniel’s gentleman side.
“Hindi naman sa nagyayabang pero nung nakita ni DJ na nahihirapan ako at natataranta sa bag ko, kinuha niya then pinatong sa upuan niya. HUHUHU ISANG DANIEL PADILLA LANG NAMAN GUMAWA NON SAKIN. HIHIMATAYIN NA ATA AKO. HELPPPPP”
She tweeted out how lucky Kathryn is:
“Ngayon masasabi ko na talaga kung gaano kahaba ang hair ni Kathryn, kung gaano siya kaswerte sa isang Daniel Padilla. Huhu mula naging fan ako sinusundan ko si DJ sa mall shows, tapings and concerts pero never ako nagkaroon ng picture w/ him… ngayon meron na. #blessed #kathniel”
Chariss raved on the said encounter, “Uy niyakap pati ako ni DJ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AYOKO NA SIGE NA HUHU TUMBLING NA MAMSH. Kaasar nawawala poise ko dito.”

However, even when Chariss felt so happy on meeting her idol, many KathNiel fans sent her negative comments on her Twitter account. The reason for the said bashing would be her already deleted tweet which said:
“Okay so nainom ko ng straight yung cocktail ko dahil kinuha ni DJ ang phone number and name ko. YES NAMAN MGA ATE GIRL. BEST DAY EVER FOR A FAN LIKE ME!!!”
Some fans called her “feeler,” “feelingera” and along the lines of it.
Chariss reacted and wrote a tweet on the said issue. Although, she has never confirmed nor denied the said event where Daniel got her number.
“Wala akong magagawa sa mga taong makikitid. Katulad niyo, fan lang din ako. Wala kong balak sirain ang KathNiel. Kung kayo yung nasa kalagayan ko na sa tagal kong fan eh ngayon ko lang nalapitan si DJ. Nagtweet ako kasi happy ako, wala naman akong malay na magiging issue to.”
In addition, Chariss explained how she feels Daniel would end up for Kath and vice versa.
“Alam ko at alam ng buong mundo na DJ is for Kath and Kath is for DJ. As a fan, ayun din ang pinaniniwalaan ko. Wala akong intensyong masama. You guys are jumping into conclusions. Wag maparanoid. Just be positive!
