Kapamilya singer-actress Karylle recently crossed paths with actress Marian Rivera, whose husband, film star Dingdong Dantes, was formerly in a relationship with the “It’s Showtime” host.
The said meeting was revealed by Vice Ganda, during the noontime program’s live episodes.
The topic was brought up during the show’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment, wherein a contestant shared that he recently learned of the wedding of his ex-girlfriend.
“Tanungin natin si Karylle kasi nagkita sila ni Dingdong noong isang araw, eh!” Vice Ganda said.
“Nakasalubong niya sa isang show. Sabi niya, nakasalubong niya si Marian,” he added.
Vice shared that Karylle felt at ease upon meeting Marian which only proves that they already moved on from the past.
“Gandang-ganda daw siya kay Marian. Bineso niya raw. Pag-beso niya, ‘Uy, ang ganda naman.’ Tapos pag talikod niya, na-realize niya na ang payapa na pala talaga ng puso nila, kasi nag-beso sila, tapos gandang-ganda raw siya kay Marian.”
Karylle and Dantes broke up in 2008 at the time, Dingdong had just finished working on the teleserye “Marimar”, where he was paired with Rivera.
The timing triggered speculations that an affair between Marian and Dingdong caused the breakup, however, this was denied by both.
Marian and Dingdong got married in December 2014 and blessed with their one-year-old daughter Zia.
