Martin del Rosario will play the gay role of Barbs in the Cignal Entertainment series, Born Beautiful. It also remains under the production of The IdeaFirst Company and direction of Jun Robles Lana and Perci Intalan.
Born Beautiful is also the spin-off of the award-winning hit movie, Die Beautiful.
Martin prepared for the role and did everything authentically. He also shaved many places of his body and would tuck his reproductive part. He, then, admitted that the tucking pains him.
Although, he endures it to hide his member when wearing short clothing.
“Masakit! Kasi minsan sumisilip sa gilid… Kasi bukod doon sa pampapuwet, may ipinapatong pa na mga lampin-lampin para sa balakang, hindi ko alam ang tawag e.
“At saka kailangan nakababa ‘yung ano mo, kasi ‘yung mga suot kong shorts ‘yung babakat ‘yung ano ko. Lahat ng suot ko masikip, tapos pag-take na kailangan cross legs ka, so ipit na ipit. Kaya ‘pag walang take pwede kang bumukaka para makahinga siya.”
Martin will also have kissing and a love scene with a fellow male which remained a huge challenge for him.
“First time ko makipaghalikan at makipag-love scene sa lalaki, kaya ang dami kong firsts dito sa Born Beautiful.”
Martin has two leading men in Born Beautiful: Akihiro Blanco and Kiko Matos. He has a kissing scene with Akihiro and a love scene with Kiko.
