Angel Locsin buzzed the Playgirls on their car wash act during a Pilipinas Got Talent episode. The girl group also danced in their underwear while washing a car. During the said episode, Angel told the Playgirls that she cared too much to let people objectify them.
However, Camsi Sierra or also known as Playgirl Camsi was offended and called Angel a hypocrite as she had already played Darna.
Playgirl Camsi thought how ironic that Angel wore almost the exact same outfit they had in the audition. Angel portrayed Darna in 2005 where she wore the super-heroine’s iconic red costume.
What Playgirl Camsi didn’t understand, Angel portrayed a super-heroine as she saves the world while the girl group twerked and let men objectify them.
In a Facebook post, Playgirl Camsi claimed that Angel had a viral nude photo.
“Walanjo bakit umiyak yun? pasalamat ka nga nagBra at Panty pa kami 😂😂 Ikaw nga jan nagDarna, may Nude Picture ka pa na halos hubad na.. Buti sa balat namin Concern ka sa sarili mong balat wala.. 😂😂😂”
In the edit history of the said Facebook post, Playgirl Camsi slammed Angel on the concept of their dance. The said girl group member claimed that the production of Pilipinas Got Talent were the ones who contacted them. She also continued that the PGT staff gave them the concept.
“Dami mong sinabi samantalang nagDARNA ka nga, may NUDE pictures ka pa na halos hubad kana.. ano tawag mo jan Sacrifice? ‘di baleng ikaw mabastos wag lang kami? Buti sa balat namin Concern ka pero sa sarili mo wala.. Kaya nga Carwash ang concept ee alangan mag pyjama at Jacket kami.. hnd ka ata na brief ng PGT na sila nagcontact samin at sila dn nagbigay ng concept.. Tanong2 muna Ateng bago magsalita..”
During the said episode, Angel teared up after the Playgirls left. She explained to co-hosts Robin Padilla, Vice Ganda and Freddie M. Garcia why she didn’t want the Playgirls to continue.
Angel emphasizes that women often think that going sexy and letting people objectify them remain the only means to success. Robin finally understood Angel’s advocacy and rubbed her back as he tried to comfort her.
