During the last quarter of 2017, rumors started to circulate that Mylene Dizon and John Estrada had a rift during a taping for ABS-CBN’s primetime series, The Good Son.
Many wondered what really happened between the two. It almost seemed like a smear campaign against John. Smear campaign refers to a plan to make false accusations to discredit a public figure.
In this case, someone may have planned to create dubious allegations against John.
John has already spoken up about the said issue. He also took to Instagram to express his insight on the matter. He received support from many including his wife, Priscilla Meirelles and friend, Derek Ramsay.
In John’s Instagram post, he wrote on the caption that he usually doesn’t care about tabloid write-ups about him. However, this became an exception because he knew that not one of his leading ladies would claim that he had touched them inappropriately.
John also added that his parents raised him properly. He slammed the comments about his personal life. John lets Ador Saluta know that he should meet up with his lawyer soon because he will personally file a complaint against the writer.
The issue quieted down when his character in The Good Son died. Mylene has yet to speak out about the said issue.
