Looks like the Superstar is not yet done with her showbiz life. In fact, she will have an upcoming primetime series in GMA Network this 2018. The series is still untitled, and no further details were released yet.

Nora Aunor is known as one of the best actresses in the history of Philippine cinema and received the title “Superstar” for her extraordinary acting performance. However, there are reasons why such a hailed actress lost her grasp on fame.
One reason is that she has matured, and people prefer young faces, and the other reason is she has some serious problem regarding work ethics. In the past, Nora Aunor has been reported several times for her bad working habits.
Viewers are disappointed with Nora Aunor’s downfall. The actress has been busy doing some network hopping in the past few years. After ABS-CBN can no longer handle her unprofessionalism, she transferred to TV5. Her career was not secured in that network as well, so she ended up taking small projects.
This 2018, she was invited by GMA 7 to play a role in Eat Bulaga’s Lenten Special where she will work with Ryzza Mae Dizon called “A Daughter’s Love.” The story is about a grieving mother who lost all sight of hope by falling into depression. Her daughter will do everything to help their family get back on their feet.

The Lenten Special is probably the Superstar’s first step in coming back on the screen. GMA is happy to have Nora Aunor and hopes to regain her reputation as an actress. Nora’s last teleserye was Little Nanay in 2015 also in GMA Network.
