Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion were supposed to star in a reunion movie together. However, news suddenly broke that it will no longer take place.
Although, rumors about the real reason behind it never came to media not until Sharon left a comment on one Instagram fan account, @thesharongeneration.
Sharon took to Instagram to share the news regarding the reunion movie with her ex-husband and former onscreen partner, where she revealed that the Sharon-Gabby might not push through anymore.
In another Instagram post with a lengthy caption, Sharon also insinuated her lost friendship with Gabby.
In the said comment, Sharon wrote that her reason was supposed to be confidential and continued that she was upset how it was written.
“This was supposed to be confidential… but it’s true naman. I cannot speak for my bosses Olive Lamasan and Malou Santos though. Am a bit upset that this was written about. Sone words here were what I sent in a text as my “official” resignation. Haaayyy… @iamnoelferrer”
Sharon also added how she had agreed to Gabby’s requested billing. However, she cared about the legacy she wanted to give to their daughter, KC Concepcion. She went ahead and swallowed her pride and did everything.
“Just for the record , I agreed to his requested billing. I really didn’t care. What I cared about was that this, what he called our “legacy” to KC, would be done. FOR HER. Wala sa akin ang problema. They can lie and make up all the stories they want. But I was willing to do it and swallow what was left of my pride for KC.”
Sharon would do everything for her daughter. However, she couldn’t do the movie due to her schedule and professionalism being toyed with. She also expressed her exhaustion and waved the “legacy” away which was supposed to be for KC.
“My life’s work and name will never mean more to me than KC. But i can’t do the movie when my schedule and professionalism are constanty toyed with. Tapos iba ang mababasa mo. Nakakapagod. So neved mind what “legacy” was supoosed to be for KC. I said yes to all demands na. Pero sobra naman ang power-tripping ng mga tao. Not worth it. Ilang beses na ako naooffend. Why naman will I allow it? And since kC was 2 ako lang naman lahat… so she will surely have MY legacy. I hope he gives her something, anything for once in her life. The end.”
