Although Coco Martin had confirmed his Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry with Vic Sotto, Vice Ganda has yet to announce his future co-stars for his own. In earlier reports, rumors also suggested that either Dingdong Dantes or Richard Gutierrez will play the role of his leading man.
In an interview with a press conference, Dingdong reacted to the news regarding the said MMFF 2018 entry.
“Wala pa talagang sinasabi sa akin eh. Pero nung narinig ko yung ganung balita, siyempre nakakatuwa at I’m very humbled na kung sino man ang gumawa ng balitang iyun na i-consider ako, kung totoo man o hindi.”
Dingdong will also focus on Amazing Earth as he had wanted to contribute to saving the planet.
“We all belong to this planet. We are all responsible what we do here. So, mahalaga yung bagay na alamin natin na we are not just the only species here.”
Dingdong also shared his reason behind the advocacy. People have to learn to co-exist with other species.
“Hindi lang tayo ang nilalang nandito. Hindi lang tayo ang humans dito. We have animals, and we have the whole planet around us. It’s just a matter of respecting kung anong meron diyan. Siyempre, alamin natin kung ano sila di ba? And how to co-exist with them para mas maging harmonious yung pagsasama natin dito sa ating planeta.”
