- Miguel Tanfelix is the new World Vision Philippines Ambassador

Last October 5 (Friday), Miguel Tanfelix signed with World Vision Philippines and became one of its ambassadors for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
Present during the signing were Talent Manager Vic Del Rosario, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, World Vision Resource Development Director Jun Godornes, and National Director of World Vision in the Philippines Rommel Fuerte.
Miguel also shared that he chose DDR because he loves outdoor activities and he hopes to influence his fans in this aspect.
In an interview with GMA Network, Miguel shares “Thankful ako na mas mapapalaki ‘yung pag-reach out ko sa mga nangangailangan.”
Miguel shares some of his plans on how to help spread awareness on disaster risk reduction, “First, alam natin na sobrang lakas ng social media ngayon. ‘Yung mga social media posts, malaking tulong iyon. Siyempre hindi lang ‘yon, kailangan Makita nila na ginagawa mo talaga. So I will be very hands-on sa mga gagawin naming operations.”
During the signing, Miguel also decided to support other children through the World Vision Philippines Sponsor A Child Program.
