The cast of newly-aired GMA Network drama series ‘Sahaya’ were in full force during the media conference on March 11, Monday night, at Matrix Creation Events, Quezon City.
All media guests were glued to the impressive AVP shown and directed by Zig Dulay. It was the promise of the show’s content that diverted the attention of the press and set aside the respective issues that involved the cast members like Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix and even Mylene Dizon.
Dizon is part of the series and she plays the role of Sahaya’s mother. Sahaya is played by Umali.
Despite Mylene’s request not to talk about her issue involving John Estrada, who at the same time is already a Kapuso star; it did not stop the press from asking if she is ready to have a project with the actor under the same Network?
“I don’t think so,” her straight forward answer.
“Alam mo naman ako, I’m one project-at-a-time. Hindi ko naman… Hindi ko rin alam, e. ‘Yung huli kong project The Good Son, almost one year ako nagpahinga, mga eleven months,” she added.
Dizon and Estrada were together in the ABS-CBN prime-time series ‘The Good Son’ aired last quarter of year 2017 and lasted first quarter of year 2018.

The actress appreciated the concept of ‘Sahaya.’ Her role here as a mother is one-of-a-kind; it made her nod for the project. After ‘Sahaya,’ she has no other projects yet in GMA Network. This gives her more time to be with her children, as what she wanted.
“I dont know when to work again. Right now inaasikaso ko yung mga anak ko. Kasi yung panganay ko, teenager na.”
How will she react if ever she and John will meet in GMA Network?
“I don’t know actually! I don’t know. I don’t know!,” Mylene’s answer while trying to evade the question.
Is Mylene over with the issue? Has she Estrada forgiven?
“E, hehehe, next topic naman,” her answer as she tries to avoid it.

After his premiere and Q&A for the upcoming movie ‘The Last Interview’ (The Mayor Antonio Halili Story), the actor was asked about Dizon’s move to GMA Network.
“May pamilya yung tao, e. Siyempre naman e, hindi naman tayo, di ba?,” John’s reply.
The actor laughs at the question that good thing he didn’t make way to stop Mylene’s transfer to the Kapuso network.
“Wala po tayong ganyan! Im too blessed too to that,” he uttered.
John signed a contract in GMA Network but for him it would be better if they will not be in one project.
“Hindi naman sa ayaw, pero wag na, di ba? Andami naman diyan na pwde niyang makasama.”
Mylene and John is both a veteran actor and actress in showbiz. They have many offers that await them and surely they don’t need each other at the moment.
