with the month-long celebration of its 27th anniversary, Star Magic launched Star Magic Circle 2019. This batch is comprised of 16 young aspirants who are ready to own the spotlight and become the next big stars in showbiz.
The new batch is a mix of new and familiar faces.
These high-spirited aspirants are:

- Arielle Roces
- Eisel Serrado
- RA Lewis
- Javi Benitez
- Aiyana Waggoner
- Arabella Del Rosario
- Anthony Jennings
- JC Alcantara
- Sophie Reyes
- Melizza Jimenez
- Jeremiah Lisbo
- Kyle Echarri
During their media conference, the young aspirants were asked who are the celebrities they have crushes on and who do they want to be paired with.
Most of the girls picked Daniel Padilla. Some chose Sam Milby, Marco Gumabao, and Gerald Anderson. For the boys, they picked Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano, Nadine Lustre, Sue Ramirez, and Kim Chiu.
Some of them even preferred to pair with their Star Circle batchmates.
The new talents were asked if they believe in luck.
Kyle answered, “I don’t believe in luck pero I believe in God’s plan… I guess if it’s for you po talaga, it’s for you.”
When asked, Sophie stated, “Sa ‘kin, wala po talagang luck na nangyari. It was, as in, gusto ko po talaga.”
When it’s Jeremiah‘s turn, he said, “May purpose si God kung bakit ka napili sa industry na ‘yan… Feeling ko God’s plan and kapag inaalay mo kasi sa Diyos, ibibigay niya sa ‘yo.”
RA shared that he once auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother and that made him start to believe in luck and up to now, he continues to pray to God for more luck.
When it was Javi‘s turn, he stated, “Some things are out of your control talaga eh… So, I really believe in luck.”
