  • The ABS-CBN TVplus Go dongle picks up digital TV signals, giving users the chance to catch ABS-CBN shows on Android smartphones with digital broadcast clarity and no data charges
  • Each ABS-CBN TVplus Go device is free to register on one phone each, and for succeeding phone registrations there will be an additional charge to access exclusive content
  • ABS-CBN TVplus Go is now part of the growing list of digital properties of ABS-CBN, which aims to lead the country’s transition to digital broadcast before 2023

Watching ABS-CBN TV shows like “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “It’s Showtime,” and “Idol Philippines” during the daily commute without using any data is now a reality for Filipinos with the ABS-CBN TVplus Go, the mobile version of ABS-CBN’s best-selling TVplus box.

The ABS-CBN TVplus Go dongle picks up digital TV signals, giving users the chance to catch ABS-CBN shows and TVplus exclusive channels like ABS-CBN S+A, DZMM TeleRadyo, CineMo, YeY, Knowledge Channel, MYX, Asianovela Channel, Movie Central, Jeepney TV, and O Shopping on Android smartphones with digital broadcast clarity and no data charges.
Users can enjoy data-free viewing the ABS-CBN TVplus Go for a one-time payment of only P799. Initially available in Cellboy and Celltime outlets in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Bulacan since June 1, 2019, the ABS-CBN TVplus Go is also now available in SM Information Booths in select SM Malls in Metro Manila.

To use the ABS-CBN TVplus Go, smartphone users just need to check if their phones meet the following minimum system requirements: (a) phones should be a USB OTG (on-the-go) Android Device and have a micro-USB Port, (b) phones should run on an Android 5.0 OS or higher with at least 1GB RAM and dual-core processor. For Android users with a Type C port, ABS-CBN TVplus Go will also work on the device as long as it is connected to a Type C Micro-USB Adaptor with data support.

To check if an Android phone is USB OTG capable, users can text OTG <phone brand and model> to 23661 or visit tvplusgo.abs-cbn.com/otg

Getting started with the ABS-CBN TVplus Go is easy. Users just need to download the ABS-CBN TVplus Go App from the Google Play Store, attach the antenna to the dongle and connect the ABS-CBN TVplus Go to an Android device that meets the minimum system requirements. Lastly, users have to complete a one-time online registration to watch TVplus exclusive channels.

Each ABS-CBN TVplus Go device is free to register on one phone each, and for succeeding phone registrations there will be an additional charge to access exclusive content.

With the ABS-CBN TVplus Go, Filipinos can have the TVplus experience from their homes to outdoors wherever there is a digital TV signal, including Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Batangas, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Baguio City, Cavite, Laguna, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Metro which Cebu, Cagayan de Oro City, and Davao City.

ABS-CBN TVplus Go comes only four years after the Kapamilya network introduced ABS-CBN TVplus, the country’s pioneering digital terrestrial television service in 2015 that transformed the way Filipinos watch television. Now, ABS-CBN is the first TV network in the Philippines to launch this mobile digital broadcast receiver.

ABS-CBN TVplus Go is now part of the growing list of digital properties of ABS-CBN, which aims to lead the country’s transition to digital broadcast before 2023.
