Netizens and avid viewers of ABS-CBN’s long-running action drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano are up on their feet again after its latest episode.
Social media is abuzz if the Cardo has finally met his demise after being brutally attacked by Bungo, his current nemesis played by Baron Geisler.
In the Tuesday’s (July 16) episode, Cardo played by Coco Martin was stabbed and shot several times by his nemesis Bungo.
“Sisiguraduhin ko na hindi ka na mabubuhay, Dalisay!” Bungo said, before firing his gun five times at the already injured Cardo.
That scene drew mixed reactions from netizens and viewers who created their own conspiracy theories.

But, this was not the first time that Coco Martin’s character died in the series.
In FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s almost four years on air, Cardo has already had several near-death experiences.
In the first season, Martin’s original character Ador De Leon was killed by his nemesis Joaquin played by Arjo Atayde. But soon after, Coco was resurrected in the character of his twin brother Cardo who initially pretended to be Ador before coming out as the twin Cardo Dalisay.
Like the proverbial cat with nine lives, Cardo has come back from the verge of death several times. But Cardo first met his “demise” after Marco Cabrera (JC Santos) and his group gunned him down in an encounter at the hanging bridge. But apparently, this death scene was only Alyanna’s bad dream.
This latest threat to Cardo’s life will certainly be something that he will surpass as it will usher in another phase of the story.
