After more than a week of keeping his silence on the issue of his alleged infidelity with his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson finally has something to say.
In one of his follower’s Instagram stories, the Kapamilya actor replied with a meaningful message about hearing both sides of the story so as not to become a “manipulated fool.”
His response reads, “There’s always two sides to every story. If you are unwilling to hear the other side and only draw your conclusion from a half-told story, then you’re choosing to be a manipulated fool.”
While he did not mention any names, he was most likely referring to the controversy he is currently involved in. But what’s keeping Anderson from speaking up and defending himself is what has many netizens curious.
Since last week, there have been reports of him cheating on Alonzo with one-time co-star Julia Barretto because of his ex-girlfriend’s meaningful post on Instagram. With Alonzo liking photos of Barretto and Anderson, more fuel was added to the fire.
Alonzo’s celebrity friends unfollowed Barretto on Instagram and vice versa. As for Barretto’s side, her sister Dani and her mother Marjorie had already explained that the stolen photo of Barretto and Anderson together was harmless since they are just friends. Marjorie also said she intends on taking legal actions against the one who uploaded the picture.
