Celebrities like the 80s heartthrob Gabby Concepcion, TV host Suzy Entrata-Abrera and radio and TV personality Sam Y.G. (short for Samir Young Guy) served as Neurobion’s ‘Feel to Win’ nerve drill instructors, held on Friday, August 30 at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, Quezon City.
The event is Neurobion‘s way to raise awareness about Neuropathy.
According to a survey conducted by Neurobion, most Filipinos admit to feeling the frustration on their inability to perform simple daily tasks. If undiagnosed, Neuropathy or nerve damage are symptoms which include pangangalay (pain), pamamanhid (numbness) and tusok-tusok (common prickling or tingling sensation or better known as pins and needles).
Nerves can naturally regenerate or repair itself when damaged. However, when its 50% or more of the nerve tissue is damaged, it reaches the point-of-no-return. The nerve damage is permanent.
The fact that being not able to do everyday tasks would be extremely frustrating, the need to address such symptoms of Neuropathy as opposed to brushing it off.

In the event initiated by Neurobion, the participants can experience a breakthrough in technology called Sense Glove. It brings to light the effects of Neuropathy.
It seeks to stress the importance of nerve care. Neurobion provided different challenges that test the strength of an individual’s nerves.
The Sense Glove is particularly the most interesting. The use of breakthrough technology attracted people to try it. Its virtual reality experience is an effective way to highlight how frustrating the symptoms of Neuropathy can be.
