John Lloyd Cruz sparked rumors about his showbiz comeback after Chickoy Pura, a member of rock band The Jerks, shared a photo of himself with the actor on Facebook.
The singer posted the photo along with his thank you message to director Lav Diaz for the new project.
He wrote, “Jan. 1, 2020. What a great way to start the year. To work again with the great director and friend Lavrente Diaz… Maraming, maraming salamat sa pagkakataon. Humbled and honored.”
Details about the project have not yet been revealed and unfortunately, there has been no confirmation on John Lloyd’s showbiz comeback as of this writing.
John Lloyd went on hiatus in 2017 after he was linked to Ellen Adarna, his then Home Sweetie Home co-star. In 2018, the couple had their first child. But months later, reports stated that the couple had broken up.
Meanwhile on Instagram, Ellen shared a video of herself skiing in Switzerland last Friday after three years of inactivity.
In the caption, she shared her mantra for 2020: “As per my instructor, ‘keep going.’ Should be my mantra this year!”
Neither John Lloyd nor Ellen has made a direct statement about their alleged breakup.
