The former PBB Otso housemate and businessman Gino Roque expressedd his support to Kiara Takahashi in Tabing -Ilog The Musical. He was asked if he was jealous toward Kiara’s male partners in the show–Sky Quizon, Hanie Jarar, and theater actor Ian Pangilinan, who take turns in playing Rovic Mercado.
Takahahi is Eds delos Santos in the theater production, Rovic’s love interest.
During the press conference, questions about him and Kiara were thrown; especially the support that Roque is showing toward Takahashi.
Roque said that he went to watch the show many times that sometimes people think that he is a part of the production.
He also stressed that what he and Takahashi have is the same as when they were in the PBB House; nothing has changed since both of them are busy with their respective careers.
“Same, kasi she’s so busy with this Tabing-Ilog and she’s even trained from one to ten in the evening every day, twelve sorry. I mean it’s really tough,” he said
Though work kept them busy, they still manage to keep their friendship intact.
“We still keep that friendship kahit papano kasi sa totoo lang I don’t know, nobody knows the future di ‘ba, even ako.
“So Whatever it is man, like our connection as good friend is always going to be good.”
But when he was asked if he had felt a little jealousy toward Kiara’s partner, he said that he sees it as part of the show.
“I just like to think that just a part, I mean I have no jurisdiction. Kasi she’s an actress di ba. Kasi she’s aspiring to be a theatre actor at this point. So I mean, she has to follow naman, I understand”
Roque and Takahashi started their friendship at the PBB house as both have brought “kilig” moments to the audience during their stay in the latest edition of PBB.
Gino has a secret crush on Kiara.
In order to confess his feeling to her, he composed a song despite not being a good singer. He even made a surprise date for her and gave her a necklace, which she accepted. The gesture could mean something for the latter.
Today, Kiara is busy with Tabing- Ilog the Musical and Gino is also working on his business as the CEO of Forza Philippines.
