Queen of all Media Kris Aquino set her conditions before a possible comeback on national television.
In her Instagram post, a fan asked for an update of her comeback. In response, Aquino said that she needs to ask for a medical clearance due to her autoimmune issues.
“I still need a medical clearance because of my autoimmune issues.I’m leaving everything as part of God’s plans for my life,” she said.
But then, she wants to pursue another path which is taking up political science in an online course.
“My other path is to take an online course (since many are now online) ‘political science’ sometimes you also have to follow the call of destiny,” she added.
Kris wants to be a content creator of documentaries that she will host and produce for her comeback as she also wants to tackle political issues.
Having an education in political science makes her able to give opinions not because she comes from a political clan, but because she is thoroughly informed and be very well- rounded on political issues.
“My dad started as a war correspondent for the Manila Times.
“Every morning, I watch Chris Cuomo on CNN and he comes from a political clan (his father was a New York City Governor and his brother is the current governor) and he has a law degree — so he’s able to tackle political issues from many perspectives.
“I don’t want to have an opinion because of my DNA, I want to be thoroughly informed and be very well-rounded from my education. There’s a part of me that wants to be a content creator of documentaries that I myself hosted and produced.”
It has been almost four years since Kris decided to leave ABS-CBN as she set to do a TV project with APT Entertainment, Inc., which is closely associated with GMA Network. But Kris could not become a Kapuso because of her limitations.

“But I have limitations regarding my work hours, locations, and the number of workdays I am allowed per week,” she said, explaining her decision. “Nakakahiya sa (it is embarrassing to) @gmanetwork and the family of @annettegozonvaldes if they don’t get their money’s worth.
