Kapuso comedian Michael V. explained that his ‘I stand with the President’ post was from 4 years ago after it recently trended again.
In his latest social media post, the comedian shared his original stance on President Rodrigo Duterte which was released in May 2016.
This was after Duterte won the presidency.
“FACT CHECK. Madalas kong nakikita sa circulation ‘tong quote ko na ‘to which I posted more than 4 YEARS AGO nu’ng nanalo si Digong as President, to encourage people to accept and respect the election results, consistent with the “Dapat Tama” campaign na ginawa ko with GMA Network. To set the records straight, it’s NOT A RECENT POST.”
Michael V then asked his followers to clearly pay attention to the last line in the 2016 message.
“Please pay attention to the LAST LINE NA ALL CAPS. I have no problem with people using it for the right reason pero HUWAG PO NATING GAMITING CAMPAIGN MATERIAL. ✌🏼”
Michael V. recently revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Through his vlog, he shared with his fans that he began to experience flu-like symptoms before he underwent swab tests and obtained his COVID-19 test result.
