Vivian Velez is under fire from netizens after she slammed Vice President Leni Robredo’s outfit in her speech.

In a Facebook post last August 24, 2020, the veteran actress slammed VP Leni for her outfit during her speech. Velez coined VP Leni’s speech and outfit ‘ the worst political branding’. Velez even went so far as to throw shade at VP Leni’s intelligence.

Netizens reacted to Velez’s post via Twitter.

As a child of the 80s, I know of Vivian Velez. Up to now, as an adult, I have no clue as to why she is relevant.

Why are you so disturbed that the VP looks presidential, Vivian Velez? Because she is 🙂 because the VP doesn’t even look like she needs training. Whereas your Tatay doesn’t just NOT look presidential. He can’t even act like one anymore.

Personalities also clapped back at Velez.

Vivian Velez isn’t famous for her smarts.

Velez is a veteran actress and a known die-hard Duterte Supporter. Velez recently made headlines when she celebrated ABS-CBN’s shutdown which affected the network’s film restoration efforts despite holding the position of Director of the Film Academy of the Philippines.

She also made news when she quoted a fake art card about Toni Gonzaga and an alleged P20 million fee for supporting Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
